SHIRLEY IRENE JAMES Shirley Irene James, born July 25, 1955, Ottawa, ON, passed away peacefully and with dignity, after a lengthy illness, on Saturday, April 23, 2005 at home in Great Falls, MB. A longtime friend of the family, Phyllis Babcock was at her side. Beloved sister of Mavis James, Elizabeth Lacelles and Nancy Usher of Ottawa, and brothers, Richard James (Sandra Klassen) of Winnipeg, and Bruce James. Predeceased by her parents, Cecil and Vera (Kinkade) James, and brother Douglas James. She also is survived by her nieces, Judi (Darren) Petker of British Columbia, Patricia Makarevicius of Cornwall, ON and nephew Andrew Usher of Winnipeg. A memorial service will be held for Shirley on Thursday, April 28 at 2:00 p.m. at Church of The Way, 450 Lilac St., Winnipeg.
